Focus of Practice:
Ms. Hillary’s practice focus is business and complex commercial litigation. Ms. Hillary has successfully represented clients in motion hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, and negotiations. Outside of the courtroom, Ms. Hillary works closely with clients to understand clients’ trade and to advise as to the most effective course of action to take in each client’s unique litigation. Ms. Hillary is a first point of contact and advisor for many clients.

Ms. Hillary enjoys serving her clients as an effective advocate and as a thoughtful counselor. She works closely with her clients by educating herself about her clients’ goals in order to develop and execute a litigation plan that is practical and cost-effective. As a majority of cases settle prior to trial, Ms. Hillary appreciates the need to obtain key discovery in order to facilitate a settlement or prevail at trial. With this approach, Ms. Hillary has successfully litigated business and complex commercial cases.
Community Involvement:
Ms. Hillary is an active affiliate of the Orange County Bar Association. As a member of the Young Lawyers’ Section, Ms. Hillary has chaired the Charity Golf Tournament (2007-2009) and served on the committees of the Law Clerks’ Reception and Evening with the Judiciary (2006-2009). Also, she has volunteered as a mediator for the Citizen Dispute Settlement Program (2006-2009) and helped local residents resolve landlord/tenant and money disputes before having to go to court.
