Program Specifications for 2018

This $500.00 Brownstone Scholarship is awarded in 2018 to the undergraduate or graduate student who presents a 1000 word essay on the following topic:

Whether internet sales of medical cannabis should be legal

The scholarship is open to all current full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students in an ABA accredited law school or accredited graduate program. -This scholarship will only be awarded to one incoming undergraduate or currently enrolled graduate Student -Hold a 3.0 or higher overall GPA -Must be a legal resident of the U.S. All application materials must be emailed no later than the deadline date. Materials received later will be rejected, resulting in disqualification

In order to apply for the scholarship, the candidate must fill up the form given at the bottom of this page. For applying the 2018 Scholarship Program, the candidates must write a 1000 word essay. The $500 scholarship in 2018 will be awarded to the winning student (graduate or undergraduate). The Brownstone Scholarship is to be used exclusively for college tuition and related expense. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s school to cover these expenses and he or she is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations

All scholarships are based on academic performance and for academic purposes. Scholarships are awarded only to students at an accredited academic university, college, or graduate program. On the basis of academic merit and taking into account the overall performance of the essay portion of the Program, along with potential and goals. Brownstone also looks to personal characteristics, as evidence by community participation, vocational interests and outside work or other evidence of self-help. Applicants have no right to appeal a decision regarding the winners of the Program.

Brownstone is a private law firm established in 2006 by Robert Sirianni, Jr. Mr. Sirianni sponsors the Brownstone Scholarship Program. Brownstone Scholarship Program is based on the unknown ideals that reside in each individual. When you send email communications to Brownstone Scholarship Program, we may retain those communications in order to respond to any inquires or application as related to the Brownstone Scholarship Program. We will not share your data, however, we have permission to post the winning applicant’s name, school, and essay our website. Brownstone will select the winner of each scholarship by voting and reviewing each essay question plus application provided by candidates. A panel of 3 judges of Brownstone will review each essay and application submitted by the candidates. The panel of judges will vote on each application plus the essay to determine the winner. Brownstone reserves the right not to award a scholarship in its sole discretion.
